The dates have been set for Africa’s grandest jazz event – Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF)– and we promise music-lovers a star-studded line up featuring top international and local artists.
Our award-winning festival, which will be celebrating 21 years of bringing jazz excellence to Cape Town, has become the Mother City’s most well-loved music spectacular.

We bring you multiple stages with top local and international artists performing over two nights.

Last year alone, the Festival brought 328 musicians to the stage of South Africa’s finest jazz festival, and over the last two decades, 2649 of the greatest names in jazz and jazz-related music have been added to the line-up.
These masters of jazz have performed for 34 000 Festinos annually.
But it is not just Festinos who have benefited from the musical legends behind the world-class performances:

from various orphanages have experienced the legacy of jazz through the CTIJF’s Gigs for Kids.
2451 Learners
have participated in the Music and Careers workshops over the last 13 years.

have attended the CTIJF Master Classes since 2006.

who have completed the CTIJF Training and Development programme since 2006.

In celebration. of our 21st event, tickets for the 2020 CTIJF will be offered at a to festival goers at R290 less for a weekend pass than in 2019.
